Activate Webroot Using a Key Code

To activate Webroot, visit www.webroot.com/safe, enter your 20-character key code, and sign in or create an account. Download and install the software, then enter the key again during setup to complete activation and start protection.

How to Activate Webroot Using a Key Code

1. Open Your Web Browser: On your device, open any web browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
2. Visit the Activation Page: Go to www.webroot.com/safe.
3. Enter Your Key Code: On the page, type in your 20-character Webroot key code (printed on your retail card or email confirmation).
4. Click “Next”: After entering your code, click the “Next” button to proceed.
5. Create or Log In to Your Webroot Account: If prompted, log in to your existing Webroot account or create one if you’re a new user.
6. Download the Installer: After activation, you’ll be provided a download link. Click it to download the Webroot SecureAnywhere installer.
7. Run the Installer: Open the downloaded file and begin the installation process.
8. Enter the Key Code Again: When prompted during installation, re-enter the same key code to verify your subscription.
9. Complete Installation: Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setup. Webroot will now be installed and activated.
10. Run a Scan: Once installed, run your first system scan to ensure your device is protected.
